Anna VonRosenstiel is the founder and creative force behind Carter + Rose, a beloved ceramic brand in Portland, Oregon.
With a background as a classroom art teacher, Anna first discovered ceramics while exploring creative projects for her students. That spark quickly turned to a deep love for clay, and soon after, Carter + Rose was born. What began with scraps of clay has evolved into a thriving studio known for its signature ceramic wall planters and playful ceramic snakes, all rooted in simplicity, functionality and beauty.
Beyond the work Anna creates for Carter + Rose, she curates work for private homes and collections, as well makes bespoke art for specific spaces. She is currently working on group shows and expanding her creative reach through local and international art residencies.

My ceramic work for "All At Once" is inspired by the overlapping beauty of the smallest details within an ever-changing landscape. Cast away objects on the shore, washed and sand blown, harsh and soft, exist together, for a moment. The impermanence of this relationship creates a constant newness. Change, again and again, in small details and in the big picture, all at once, together.
